Chris "CT" Tamburello from The Challenge filed for divorce from his wife Lilianet “Lili” Solares after four years of marriage. CT has continued to dominate the game even while becoming a father and husband. In recent years, the six-time Challenge winner would use his son as motivation for his desire to win the grueling competition. CT fully adjusted to his "fatherly figure" that developed after he grew older and settled into parenthood. Last year, CT took home his sixth win in his nearly two-decade history of competing on The Challenge.
But it's not all peaches and cream in the Tamburello household as the MTV veteran decided to divorce his wife of four years. Recently, CT filed to divorce his wife Lili in a Florida court, Page Six reported. CT didn't list a separation date in the filing and is still living in the same house with Lili "but not as husband and wife," the filing stated. “A separation is imminent,” the document declared. CT cited the divorce filing to the fact that their marriage is “irretrievably broken.” The couple shares their 6-year-old son Christopher Jr.
The Challenge's CT Shares His Rocky History With Lili
CT has lightly shared his rocky history with Lili on The Challenge. While filming Double Agents in 2020, CT revealed that he and Lili had separated at the time. The pair would go on to reconcile, and by the time CT returned to win Spies, Lies and Allies, he was excited to win the game and return home to his wife and son. But one year later, the MTV star decided to call it quits. There were signs of there being trouble in paradise.
Back in January, CT let his fans know that he was “in the doghouse” after insinuating that he and his wife had broken up. CT even used Halsey’s song “Without Me” to seemingly symbolize how real the message was. But he clarified that they were not breaking up and he apologized if anyone thought he misled them. CT explained that he was away filming and enjoyed the Halsey song and decided to share it on his page. CT "didn't think anything of it" until fan speculation said otherwise, and the song landed the reality star in the "doghouse" with his wife.
CT and Lili tied the knot in Florida in 2018. The Challenge star was ed by a few of his co-stars and longtime friends, including Wes Bergmann, Leroy Garrett, Cara Maria Sorbello, Derrick Kosinski, and Shane Landrum. CT previously dated Challenge alum Diem Brown, who lost her battle with cancer in 2014. CT has been transparent about his journey to personal growth and self-love as longtime fans have watched him grow up on MTV. CT said he would be taking some time off from competing after back-to-back wins last year. Now CT might need more time to adjust to life after divorce.
