Scheduled to air in September 2023, Naruto's four new episodes, nor any release window. However, this may change soon as the date for one of the anime industry's biggest conventions draws near.

Anime Japan 2025 is coming on March 23-24. While there are many exciting possible news such as Black Clover season 5, the possibility that Naruto's 4 new episodes will be announced is very high for a variety of reasons.

The Adventures Of Team 7 Will Be Coming Back After Years

While news has been scarce, fans should rest in knowing that the new Naruto episodes are still a priority for the studio. According to a financial review by TV Tokyo, the broadcasters and producers of the Naruto franchise, the episodes would be released by March 2025, at the latest. This confirms that the episodes are still in progress and being worked on, and there is no better time to officially announce their release than at the Anime Japan event. With Bleach's third cour now over and the studio changing up its production system, Naruto is going to come sooner rather than later.

Boruto Anime Studio Drops Big Hint About the Series' Return That Could Solve its Biggest Problems

The return of the Boruto anime could feature a drastic change that will improve the series and rid it of one of its biggest problems.

2023 was supposed to be a great year for fans of the Naruto franchise. With the end of the Boruto anime, the release of the Minato one-shot, and the start of Boruto's time skip with Two Blue Vortex, the new episodes were supposed to be a great way to end the year off, but unfortunately, they got postponed with no hint of when they would release. This was no surprise given how much Studio Pierrot had on their plate, with Boruto's anime suffering heavily and Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War's second cour being a downgrade to the first.

Studio Pierrot Has Other Exciting Anime On Hold

While the studio has already confirmed they're working on adapting the popular manhwa, Latna Saga, there are still other exciting anime on the horizon. Boruto's second part has already been confirmed, Tokyo Ghoul is still on its 10th anniversary, and there hasn't been any news about Yona of the Dawn and Black Clover for a while. Studio Pierrot has undergone a big change in how they do things, and Bleach is proof of that. The future of the studio is brighter than ever, and what better way to show the new Pierrot to the world than with the release of Naruto, arguably their biggest anime.

Naruto is a franchise spawned from the manga series penned by Masashi Kishimoto that began in 1999. Generating several tv series, games, movies, and more, Naruto follows the exploits of a young outcast ninja harboring the spirit of a demon fox who seeks to become the Hokage, the leader of his ninja village, to break the stigma against him. Upon the conclusion of the initial series, Naruto expanded into Boruto, following many series protagonists' children and returning faces.
