In a new interview with Florida Tennis, Joey expressed some interest in potentially returning to tennis in the future, though his current interests lie in being a television personality in some aspect. “I want to do more TV, more hosting. Maybe something in tennis. We’ll see where this all leads,” Joey revealed. Sharing that he’s been a tennis fan throughout his life, his love of the sport has afforded him a level of discipline he doesn’t always see. “Tennis has taken me to places I never imagined,” Joey shared, explaining he’s hopeful to incorporate the sport into his future.

Although Joey and Kelsey are living in Los Angeles in order to further their careers in the entertainment and influencer space, Joey’s first love has always been tennis. With his skills having brought him through his formative years and beyond, it’s something he doesn’t get to indulge in as frequently anymore with his fast-paced lifestyle. Even so, he was able to call on his tennis background during his time on Dancing With The Stars, as his quick footwork and agility were important for the athletic side of the competition. While it’s possible that Joey could return to tennis in an athletic sense, it seems more likely that he’d be incorporating tennis into his new career in the entertainment industry.
