As players travel around Night City in Cyberpunk 2077, they will be able to loot and purchase outfits to dress V and improve both their stats and armor. While clothing and armor are important, players can get even larger stat bonuses and features from Cyberware. In Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberware is technology that is permanently installed into the human body and improve performance. Throughout Night City, players can find or purchase pieces of Cyberware that can be used to upgrade V's eyes, heart, brain, appendages, and more. They will simply need to visit a Ripperdoc in the city to get them installed.

In total, there are 11 different body parts that can be upgraded using Cyberware, and some can have multiple enhancements installed at a time. Given most of the available Cyberware needs to be purchased from vendors around Night City, players should decide which ones they want to include and specifically save their eurodollars to pursue them. Depending on the piece of Cyberware, V will need a depending on the player's unique build, and a few are universally helpful. Here are some of the best pieces of Cyberware players might want to pursue in Cyberpunk 2077 and where they can find them.

Best Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077

Many players seem to agree that the best Cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077 are the upgrades that can be helpful no matter how the player built V. Often these upgrades introduce new and useful features, like the ability to Double-Jump, or ives that can make V harder to kill, like Heal-On-Kill.

Ultimately, players will have their own favorite and most useful Cyberware upgrades, but here are a few they might want to add to their arsenal.

Gorilla Arms

  • Though not necessarily as popular as the Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms can be a useful addition to any player's arsenal. They deal non-lethal, blunt damage that can knock out enemies like Cyberpsychos or help V win in the boxing side quest. They can also help players rip open doors and yank turrets off their posts. While the Mantis Blades are also nice, they are very similar to what a katana or knife can do. Gorilla arms expand V's capabilities, making them a great addition. Players will find them at Doc Ryder, the Ripperdoc in Heywood. They need to have at least 45 Street Cred and 100,250 eurodollars.

Reinforced Tendons

  • Most players will want to purchase this upgrade, as it unlocks the Double-Jump function for V. Players can get it from most Ripperdocs. With this Cyberware installed, players can press the jump button while V is already in the air to Double-Jump. This upgrade will cost 45,000 eurodollars. In general, players seem to prefer this to the similar Fortified Ankles upgrade, which lets them charge jump instead. Charge jump still launches V into the air, but has significantly less control than Double Jump.

Heal-On-Kill

  • No matter what a player's build and style, more health reserves will always be useful. This Cyberware heals up to 10% of V's health every time they kill an enemy. To get it at the highest level, players will need 18 in their Reflexes stat. Players can find it from Cassius at Northside. It costs 35,000 eurodollars.

Kerenzikov

  • If players want a few more seconds to line up a proper shot or anticipate an enemy's move, they can upgrade V using Kerenzikov. This upgrade will slow down time when players attack while sliding or dodging. It comes in various rarities corresponding to how much it slows down time, but at the Legendary rarity, time will slow by 90% for 3.5 seconds. It will require 18 in the Reflexes stat at this level and can be found at Octavio's Clinic at Arroyo, Santo Domingo. It costs 35,000 eurodollars.

Second Heart

  • If players want to give V a second chance at life when facing particularly difficult fights, they can use the Second Heart upgrade. This is a circulatory system upgrade that will restore 100% of V's maximum health when their HP hits zero. It has a two-minute cooldown, so players will want to be careful with the second chance they are given. Players need at least 16 in the Body stat and 42,000 eurodollars. It can be purchased from a Ripperdoc in western Heywood.
