If Marvel gave Daredevil a reason to battle, it would certainly be a spectacle. Though the two are close friends in the comics, Marvel is no stranger to Civil Wars. A showdown between the Devil of Hell's Kitchen and the King of Wakanda would be a close match. However, the comics prove a clear winner.

Matt Murdock first gains superhuman abilities as a small boy. When Matt sees a runaway truck of radioactive isotopes on a collision course with a blind man, he intervenes. The truck crashes, splashing his face with the harmful material. The accident leaves Matt permanently blind, but with the rest of his senses heightened to a superhuman level. After some ninja training from Stick, Murdock reaches peak human performance and takes up the mantle of Daredevil to defend his home city of Hell's Kitchen. T'Challa, on the other hand, is born into power. As prince of Wakanda, he learns martial arts and masters technology. Eventually, he earns his birthright and takes the "heart-shaped herb," imbuing him with the spirit of the Black Panther. His divine abilities include peak human condition, heightened senses, and superhuman reflexes.

Daredevil and Black Panther are similar in of strength, speed, and durability. Both have the tenacity to punch far above their weight, and neither is easily defeated. Regardless of the outcome, a fight between these heroes would be very, very long. In Daredevil #2 by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson, Matt curls a 400lb barbell, then uses the weight as a staff, knocking out several assailants before throwing it across the room. In a similar instance, Black Panther lifts a tree from the ground and throws it with ease. Black Panther is likely faster than Daredevil, but only just. On one occasion, T'challa catches a baton thrown by Daredevil. When it comes to skills in martial arts, the two are still evenly matched. Daredevil fights Shuri as Black Panther in Daredevil Vol 2: West-Case Scenario and the match seems ever so slightly in Murdock's favor.

Black Panther and Daredevil together in Marvel Comics

With only physicality taken into , there is no clear victor between Black Panther and Daredevil. The two are tough enough to slug it out for hours. However, Black Panther gains a significant advantage when equipment is taken into . His adamantium armor protects T'challa from the likes of Iron Fist and the Hulk. His anti-metal claws can damage adamantium. Although the battle would be far from one-sided, Daredevil is simply not equipped to withstand secret Wakandan weaponry. Furthermore, advanced tech allows T'challa to easily exploit Daredevil's sensitivity to ultrasonic sounds, scrambling his radar.

Although accustomed to facing powerful opponents, Daredevil just can't stand up to T'challa forever. Regardless of the strength or duration of his onslaught, Murdock's attacks are insufficient to damage Black Panther through his armor. Although it might take some time, T'challa will inevitably dispatch Daredevil. If all goes well, the two will just remain friends.
