The Continental: From the World of John Wick introduces several new actors while also bringing back some familiar faces. The prequel miniseries to the John Wick franchise, The Continental: From the World of John Wick tells the story of how Winston Scott came to be the proprietor of the New York campus of The Continental Hotel, the safe zone for assassins. The series takes place in an alternate history during the 1970s and expands the world from the John Wick franchise. The Continental weaves the history of the fictional criminal underworld with real events like the rise of the American mafia.

Colin Woodell As Winston Scott
Colin Woodell ed The Continental cast as Winston Scott, a part played by Ian McShane in the movie series. Winston is the main character of the show, and it’s his journey to becoming the owner of The Continental that the series is focused on. Woodell has played the leads in TV series before including Rick Betancourt in The Purge and Buckley Ware/Feliks in The Flight Attendant. He’s also had smaller roles in shows like Designated Survivor (where he played Tyler Richmond) and Masters of Sex (Ronald Sturgis). In movies, Woodell appears in Ambulance as Emt Scott, I Love America as John, and inCol Unfriended: Dark Web as Matias O’Brien.
Mel Gibson As Cormac
Mel Gibson appears on a TV series for the first time since 2005 in The Continental where he plays Cormac. Gibson is a world-renowned star who was the center of pop culture before a drunk driving incident forced him into a period of recovery that he only emerged from in the early-2010s. Gibson often plays powerful and inspiring characters, like the historical William Wallace in Braveheart, Benjamin Martin in The Patriot, and Martin Riggs in the Lethal Weapons series. Gibson has been nominated three times at the Academy Awards: once for Best Director for Hacksaw Ridge, and for Best Director and Best Actor in Braveheart, winning the latter two awards.
Hubert Point-Du Jour As Miles
Hubert Point-Du Jour is cast as Miles in The Continental: From the World of John Wick. Point-Du Jour is no stranger to television acting and most of his roles before this have come as recurring or ing roles in TV shows. He appears in Dr. Death as Josh Baker, City on a Hill as Kamal Kalil, The Path as Samuel, Elementary as Jaylen Thomas, and Blindspot as Akoi Salih. Point-Du Jour also co-stars with Ethan Hawke in the miniseries The Good Lord Bird as Bob.
Jessica Allain As Lou
One of the new characters introduced in The Continental is Lou, played by Jessica Allain. Allain is a model and actor from England who began appearing on-screen in 2015 after appearing in one episode of the TV show Yonderland. She then went on to appear in Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation as a flight attendant, star in Thriller as Lisa Walker, appear in The Laundromat as Simone, and was cast as Catherine in the 2022 Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Mishel Prada As KD
Michele Prada is cast as KD in The Continental. Despite only a handful of roles in her young career, Prada has appeared in some notable shows. She has a main role on the Walking Dead web series, Fear the Walking Dead: age as Gabi; plays Emma as part of the main cast of Vida on Starz; and has a recurring role on Riverdale as Veronica's older sister, Hermosa Lodge.
Nhung Kate As Yen
Nhung Kate is another newcomer to The Continental cast, playing the character Yen. Kate has appeared in many interesting Vietnamese movies and TV shows, with some of her most notable parts including Hà Linh in Swapping Fate, Qunyh in Fire Dossier 3: The Dead Body Speaks, and Lam in Sút. Her one non-Vietnamese role is in the Australian TV series Better Man as Vy.
Ben Robson As Frankie
Ben Robson s The Continental: From the World of John Wick cast as Frankie. Robson’s best-known role is as Craig Cody, the erratic and dangerous middle brother in Animal Kingdom. Beyond that, Robson appears in the horror film The Boy as an abusive ex-boyfriend Cole, in the TV series Vikings as Kaif for 13 episodes, and in A Violent Separation as Ray Young.
Peter Greene As Uncle Charlie
The younger version of Uncle Charlie from the John Wick series appears in The Continental. Originally played by David Patrick Kelly, Peter Greene is cast in this series. Greene has had a long career often playing criminal types or violent villains. His most recognizable role comes in Pulp Fiction as Zed. He also appears in The Mask as Dorian Tyrell, Hawaii Five-0 as Rick Peterson, Justified as Thomas Buckley, The Usual Suspects as Redfoot the Fence, and Training Day as Detective Jeff.
Ayomide Adegun As Charon
Charon is the concierge at The Continental Hotel in the John Wick franchise and a right-hand man to Winston. He’s played by the late, great Lance Reddick in the movie franchise. Cast as the younger version of Charon in The Continental miniseries is Ayomide Adegun. Adegun is just getting started in his acting career in 2023, but he appears in two major franchises that same year. First, in The Continental, and second, in The Hunger Games prequel movie The Hunger Games: A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes as Pliny “Pup” Harrington.
Jeremy Bobb As Mayhew
Jeremy Bobb is new to the cast of The Continental as he plays the original character, Mayhew. Bobb has had a prolific and successful career in both television and movies, often playing ing characters in a variety of genres. In movies, Bobb appears in The Wolf of Wall Street as one of the police officers, in The Drop as Stevie, and in God’s Country as Wolf. He’s played roles in numerous successful TV shows, including Nick Henslow in House of Cards as Nick Henslow, Herman Barrow in The Knick, Mike Kershaw in Russian Doll, Alec Pelley in The Outsider, and Gregory Salinger/Foolkiller in Jessica Jones.
Katie McGrath As The Adjudicator
The Adjudicator first appears in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum as an agent of the High Table. In that movie, they are played by Asia Kate Dillon. The character appears at a younger age in The Continental, now played by Katie McGrath. McGrath has had ing and main roles in tent pole franchises and long-running popular TV shows. On television, she plays Morgana Pendragon on Merlin, Lucy Westenra in Dracula, Lena Luthor in Supergirl, and Elizabeth Carruthers in Frontier.
