Matt Murdock Is Making Good On His Promise Of Building An Army
Daredevil: Born Again season 1 showed how close Angela and Hector were. As such, it makes sense that she would be the one to follow in his footsteps, especially when Angela was Marvel Comics' next White Tiger after Hector died there, too. Angela even went after Muse alone to investigate the missing people to continue White Tiger's legacy, having to be rescued by Daredevil. The MCU series naturally continues that arc by turning her into a superhero in training. Daredevil needs all the help he can get, so a new White Tiger fits.

Jessica Jones returns in Daredevil: Born Again season 2, and there are now teases about Iron Fist and Luke Cage coming back to the MCU to help Matt.
While Angela is quite young and does not have proper superhero training, she has something that could easily help her fit in with characters like Daredevil, the Punisher, and Jessica Jones. Kamar de los Reyes' Hector Ayala got his powers from a mystical amulet. While the set photo makes it unclear, Angela could be wearing her uncle's amulet in Daredevil: Born Again season 2, which would allow the MCU to finally show White Tiger in action, as Hector's time in the suit onscreen was quite brief.

Angela Del Toro Has Great Potential In The MCU

I was a fan of the chemistry between Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Camila Rodriguez's Angela del Toro in Daredevil: Born Again season 1. Matt seemed like a great mentor for her, and I'm excited that the MCU series should be fully going there now that Angela is the new White Tiger. Besides Matt showing her the ropes of the superhero life, Daredevil: Born Again season 2 could set up White Tiger to have a role in future MCU projects, as Angela's age makes her a perfect recruit for the MCU's Young Avengers after her Daredevil: Born Again story.
