Fan Animation Features Inosuke and Bakugo Battling One Another Impressively

The Video Reveals How Incredible an Official Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia Collaboration Would Be

In the video, posted on @danimate_2d's X page, the two heroes duke it out in an astonishing fully hand drawn animation. Demon Slayer Inosuke slashes at his opponent with his characteristic set of two nichirin swords, one in each hand, while Bakugo blasts back at his enemy with his powerful Explosion Quirk, controlled using grenade-shaped gauntlets on either arm. The animation is about a minute-long and shows off the fighting style of each character, imagining what would happen if My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer ever enjoyed an official anime crossover and these two strong-willed heroes encountered each other.

Whether they feature realistic duels, or magical ones with heightened stakes, these fighting anime offer some of the medium's most engaging battles.

The fighting animation is magnificent, filled with bright colors as the heroes punch and strike at each other, both desperate to declare themselves the victor. The short clip does not end with either character being revealed as the definitive winner of the battle though, instead, the video ends in a symbolic way, zooming in on a frame of one of Inosuke's nichirin swords embedded in the ground right next to a cracked grenade, meant to represent Bakugo and his fiery powers. From start to finish, the video is captivating, showing off @danimate_2d's true talent for hand-drawn animation.

Bakugo and Inosuke Are the Most Persistent, Headstrong Heroes in Their Series

In the Fighting Animation, Their Mightiness and Refusal to Ever Give Up Are on Display

Inosuke and Bakugo are two of the most powerful characters in their respective universes, so it only makes sense that a fight between them would be intense. Neither of these heroes ever gives up, even when it is quite risky for them to continue. Inosuke almost lost his life against horrifically threatening Upper Rank demons like Doma and Muzan, while Bakugo never stopped working as a hero, even after being kidnapped by the League of Villains and nearly losing his life to Shigaraki and All For One. This enthralling animation only further proves how headstrong and persistent the pair are.

Dan Mark Lagaza, the artist behind the hand-drawn animation, is exceptionally skilled at bringing these iconic characters to life in an exciting, never-before-seen way, and he even teaches animation classes to help others learn how to create incredible, fast-paced works of art like this one by breaking down his process. Watching these two fan-favorite heroes, Bakugo and Inosuke, battle so determinedly reveals how legendary a collaboration between My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer could be, featuring these respectable heroes fighting alongside one another to take down villains, or perhaps, like in the video, challenging each other on the battlefield.
