The Video Reveals How Incredible an Official Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia Collaboration Would Be

In the video, posted on @danimate_2d's X page, the two heroes duke it out in an astonishing fully hand drawn animation. Demon Slayer Inosuke slashes at his opponent with his characteristic set of two nichirin swords, one in each hand, while Bakugo blasts back at his enemy with his powerful Explosion Quirk, controlled using grenade-shaped gauntlets on either arm. The animation is about a minute-long and shows off the fighting style of each character, imagining what would happen if My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer ever enjoyed an official anime crossover and these two strong-willed heroes encountered each other.

The fighting animation is magnificent, filled with bright colors as the heroes punch and strike at each other, both desperate to declare themselves the victor. The short clip does not end with either character being revealed as the definitive winner of the battle though, instead, the video ends in a symbolic way, zooming in on a frame of one of Inosuke's nichirin swords embedded in the ground right next to a cracked grenade, meant to represent Bakugo and his fiery powers. From start to finish, the video is captivating, showing off @danimate_2d's true talent for hand-drawn animation.

Inosuke almost lost his life against horrifically threatening Upper Rank demons like Doma and Muzan, while Bakugo never stopped working as a hero, even after being kidnapped by the League of Villains and nearly losing his life to Shigaraki and All For One. This enthralling animation only further proves how headstrong and persistent the pair are.
