Part 2 of Dr. Stone's three-part final season is almost here, and a new trailer is teasing the last conflicts and mysteries which will help drive the series to its epic conclusion. With new allies, enemies, and some crazy new inventions, Dr. Stone certainly knows how to go out in style.

Dr. Stone is a science fiction series set in the distant future, thousands of years after everyone on Earth was turned to stone simultaneously. Senku, a brilliant teenager with an incredible aptitude for science, awakens from this millennia-long state, and immediately sets about trying to restore humanity and rebuild all of our greatest inventions. Senku learns to turn others back from being stone and awakens both allies and enemies as he attempts to bring civilization back to the stone world. The anime series originally began in 2019, and is finally coming up on its epic finale.

Dr. Stone Escalates As Its Final Episodes Careen Towards a Conclusion

Dr. Stone's new trailer for the final season, entitled Science Future, showcases some of the incredible inventions that Senku has brought back, such as motorcycles. A light is shown emanating from the jungles of South America, perhaps signaling another group of survivors. The trailer includes a lot of new characters for being relatively late in the story, such as Chelsea Childe, a geographer who the team discovers alone, and, of course, the return of the recently-introduced Dr. Xeno, a man with a mind brilliant enough to rival Senku's but with very different loyalties.

Dr. Stone has definitely had its ups and downs throughout its run, but as it moves into the endgame of the series, it should be quite compelling to watch. After journeying across the ocean, Senku and his allies arrived in the Americas, hoping to find corn and instead finding another group of de-petrified people with their own agenda.

The Final Season of Dr. Stone Will Arrive Shortly

According to the message accompanying the trailer, the second part of Dr. Stone's final season will be available on July 10, 2025, on Crunchyroll, following on from the release of part 1 in January 2025. Part 3's release date has yet to be revealed, but most fans are expecting it will be released late this year.

Dr. Stone has certainly been a unique experience, with its heavy focus on science (albeit one that becomes increasingly convenient as the story goes on) making it unlike most other shonen series on the market. With a journey that's been six years in the making, fans are sure to be excited to finally see Dr. Stone's ending animated, especially as it moves into its third and final part. Fortunately, fans of Dr. Stone don't have too much longer to wait.
