Dragon Ball universe after Fortnite. The Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover event took place in the second half of August, adding tons of exciting content and allowing all of Fortnite's massive roster to perform over-the-top Dragon Ball moves.
Epic officially announced the Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover via a cryptic tease, which consisted of a glowing image of the Eternal Dragon Shenron and a quote from the magical beast itself. Although the developer did not address the event directly at the time, the appearance of the dragon left little to the imagination. The official Spider-Man web-shooters alongside other Spidey-related items. Unfortunately, the developer hasn’t provided any details on what to expect from the Dragon Ball collaboration, although more information is expected to land closer to the event’s launch date. Judging by previous events held in the mobile version of PUBG, there will probably be multiple cosmetic items for players to unlock, which was also the case for the Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover.
The PUBG Mobile X Dragon Ball Crossover Is Coming Next Year
Although PUBG Mobile is the place where most of the fun happens in of unlikely collaborations in PUBG titles, the original game has recently received its own share of attention. The PUBG x Assassin's Creed crossover introduced a couple of highly detailed costumes belonging to Altair and Ezio as purchasable cosmetics. While dressing as two iconic Assassin’s Creed characters was the focus of the event, there were other items for players to obtain, including parachute skins, gun charms, and emotes.
The original PUBG game is generally trying to keep a more realistic tone, which isn't the case for the mobile version. PUBG Mobile is gravitating towards a much more light-hearted style, strongly resembling Fortnite. With that in mind, the Dragon Ball crossover fits perfectly with PUBG Mobile’s aesthetics. For now, it’s still a mystery how far the developer will go in of introducing Dragon Ball-themed content. Hopefully, there’ll be enough fun activities and cool cosmetics for players to feel like the premise is worth their attention.
