Epic Games has revealed this week's collection of free games, which should be perfect for cat lovers who enjoy a solid action-RPG or mind-bending puzzle. When it comes to the titles Epic Games offers up every week, the sheer variety on offer is staggering. PC players who take advantage of the giveaways have, over the years, been able to build entire libraries without having to purchase a single game on the Epic Games Store, and the week of March 28, 2025, is no different.
Over on The Epic Games Store, Cat Quest and Neko Ghost, Jump! are currently free to keep for all s. As per usual, players have a week to claim the games before they're replaced by a new, currently-unknown title on April 3, 2025. While neither game is a blockbuster AAA release, they're both indie gems that have garnered ionate followings for their creativity, especially Cat Quest, which is the first entry in a franchise that now spans three games.
Cat Quest And Neko Ghost, Jump! Deserve Some Love
Both Are Adorable, Light-Hearted Romps
Those who have Diablo and Titan Quest will be familiar with Cat Quest's mechanics. Developed by The Gentlebros, the fast-paced RPG tasks players with taking on the role of a gallant cat knight that must venture through the land of Felingard to smite countless enemies, gaining new magical powers and equipment with almost every kill. While nowhere near as dense and complicated as something like Path of Exile, the more laid-back nature of the combat is great for players looking to enjoy a familiar genre without all the stress that comes with power-leveling.
As for Neko Ghost, Jump!, cat-lovers wanting an adorable platformer owe it to themselves to check it out. The game's core hook is the player's ability to switch between 2D and 3D perspectives, allowing for a unique challenge as the game's 40 distinct levels are built around the idea that a different angle is usually essential to understand a particular challenge or puzzle. It's still in early access, but with 100s of character customization options and eight biomes, all with their own boss fight, there's still plenty of content to enjoy.
