What Happened In Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Episode 1?
In its premiere episode, Go! Go! Loaser Ranger! has set itself up to be one of the most fun series of the season
In Go! Go! Loser Ranger! episode #1, “We Are Justice! The Dragon Keepers!”, the Super Sentai-esque team known as the Dragon Keepers engaged in their latest battle against the Nefarious Monster Army, a mysterious group of monsters trying to take over the world. What no one knows, though, is that the leaders of the Nefarious Monster Army were defeated very quickly in the war, and for over a decade, the surviving henchmen of the Nefarious Monster Army have been forced to help the Dragon Keepers put on staged battles, all so the Dragon Keepers can maintain their status and relevancy.
While most of the Dusters – the generic minions of the Nefarious Monster Army – have accepted their new status quo, one Duster, Fighter D, have gotten sick of being treated like a joke. In the last battle, D went off-script and kept fighting when he was supposed to go down, but even then, he was defeated just as easily as every other week. Still refusing to give up, though, D disguised himself as a human with the plan of infiltrating the Dragon Keepers and destroying them from the inside, with a junior Ranger taking a peculiar interest in him, all the while.

Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Is Perfect For Anyone Who Grew Up On Power Rangers
This unique take on a classic genre is just what old-school sentai fans needed
At the time of Go! Go! Loser Ranger!’s premiere, roughly 30 years have gone by since Power Rangers first premiered. Various entries in the franchise have done new things with it, but they still tend to follow a basic formula, which is why Go! Go! Loser Ranger! already stands out. By flipping the script to make the Rangers the villains and one of the monsters the protagonist, Go! Go! Loser Ranger! twists the Power Rangers formula that’s engaging anyone who grew up with it, and hopefully, future episodes will keep doing a great job of showing that off.
Be sure to watch Go! Go! Loser Ranger! episode #2 when it releases on April 14.
