The final chapter in the Halloween franchise has gone through different retcons that have made it branch out into different timelines, and in 2018, a new one started with David Gordon Green’s Halloween, which serves as a direct continuation of the events of John Carpenter’s original movie, and as such, it ignores all subsequent movies.
Halloween Ends takes place four years after the events of Laurie to confront the evil she can't control, once and for all. Halloween Ends, then, will bring back the main characters from the reboot timeline and will introduce some new ones as well – and here’s who plays who.
Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode
Jamie Lee Curtis is back as Laurie Strode in Halloween Ends. After Michael Myers killed her daughter, Karen, at the end of Halloween Kills, Laurie is now living with her granddaughter and working on her memoir. However, a new wave of terror and the return of Michael Myers will force her to confront him one last time, but this final battle might come big a big prize. In addition to playing Laurie Strode in most Knives Out.
Andi Matichak as Allyson Nelson
Andi Matichak plays Allyson Nelson, Laurie’s granddaughter. Michael Myers killed Allyson’s parents in Halloween and Halloween Kills, but now that he disappeared, she’s living with her grandmother and continues to try to make her forget about her quest for revenge against Michael… but it will all take a turn once he returns. Andi Matichak played Kayla Shepard in the horror movie Assimilate, Gale in the war drama Foxhole, and Laura in the horror thriller Son.
James Jude Courtney & Nick Castle as Michael Myers
James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle are back as Michael Myers. After spending four decades at Smith’s Grove Psychiatric Hospital, Michael returned to Haddonfield in 2018 and went on a new killing spree, but he suddenly disappeared after that. Now, he’s coming back for another confrontation with Laurie Strode and the people of Haddonfield, and this might be his final killing spree. James Jude Courtney is best known for his work as a stunt double and performer, while Nick Castle has mostly focused on directing, and among his works are The Last Starfighter and Mr. Wrong.
Will Patton as Deputy Frank Hawkins
Will Patton plays Deputy Frank Hawkins, the man who arrested Michael Myers back in 1978. In Halloween Ends, Hawkins is now closer to Laurie and Allyson, but just like them, he will be dragged back into the horrors of Michael Myers’ actions when he returns. Will Patton is best known for his performances in the movies The Postman, Armageddon, the Titans, and the TV series Swamp Thing, Yellowstone, and Outer Range.
