Owen Crow Shoe as Pionsenay: Owen Crow Shoe made his Hollywood debut as a stunt actor in The Revenant in 2015. Since then, he has played roles in a handful of other movies and TV shows, including The Emigrants and Joe Pickett. Pionsenay is the brother and partner in crime to Taklishim. He and his brother have different opinions on how to handle the situation with the settlers best, as Taklishim is more apt to wait things out than Pionsenay.

Giovanni Ribisi as Pickering: Giovannia Ribisi was born in Los Angeles in 1974. He previously worked with Horizon co-star Worthington on 2009’s Avatar, wherein he played the role of Parker Selfridge. His other notable work includes parts in Boiler Room and The Gift. In Horizon, he plays a character named Pickering.

Luke Wilson as Matthew Van Weyden: Luke Wilson was born in Dallas in 1971 and is part of the famous Wilson brothers acting team. Alongside brother Owen, he rose to fame in his role in Wes Anderson’s debut film Bottle Rocket. He has gone on to appear in other Anderson films, most iconically playing Richie Tenenbaum in The Royal Tenenbaums. In Horizon, he plays pioneer Matthew Van Weyden who is trying to move out West with his wife and family.
