A new co-op LEGO video game called incredible co-op platform puzzler Split Fiction, let friends enjoy the game on separate platforms with just a single purchase of the game, and it seems this has influenced other publishers to follow suit.

LEGO Voyagers is a co-op building adventure that includes a Friend's , "just like Split Fiction," according to its reveal at Summer Game Fest 2025. LEGO Voyagers is being developed by Light Brick Studio, and is published by Annapurna Interactive, releasing for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The Friend's means you'll only have to purchase the game once to play with a friend, even on another system. LEGO Voyagers so far does not have a release window, only being shown as "coming soon."

LEGO Voyagers Is A New Co-Op Building Adventure

Put Together Some Puzzle Solutions

LEGO Voyagers comes from the same development studio that created the charming puzzler LEGO Builder's Journey. In LEGO Voyagers, players control a single LEGO brick, either blue or red, and go on an adventure filled with puzzles and platforming, all of which require various LEGO contraptions to be built.

The game makes a bold attempt at an entirely non-verbal narrative, telling the story of "how two bricks are better than one," according to Annapurna Interactive's website. Like many co-op games, it'll be an exercise in learning the value of working together. It builds on a long tradition of LEGO bringing friends and families together, and if Builder's Journey is any indication, the puzzles will be an extremely clever use of the iconic plastic bricks.

A Great New Trend For Co-Op Games

LEGO Voyagers itself looks incredibly charming, but it's a huge bonus that it's using a Lords of the Fallen in a recent update.

There are very few barriers to entry now for LEGO Voyagers, and the Friend's is likely a smart move on the publisher's part. People are always looking for new co-op games, but paying for two copies – especially if a game is priced at higher AAA rates – can be a massive deterrent. LEGO Voyagers' reveal is a promising start, and it's great to have another co-op game on the horizon.
