Simon Manus transforms from an NPC you encounter in Lies of P to a terrifying final boss you must be throughout two challenging phases in a desperate fight. This battle tests everything you've learned while exploring the city of Krat, from exploiting the boss' weaknesses to mastering Pinocchio's abilities. You can take on Simon Manus at the Arche Abbey Cradle of the Gods as he attempts to become a god.

Before you challenge Simon Manus, you have to defeat Laxasia, The Complete in Lies of P first in the Arche Abbey. This fight gives you a clue regarding Manus' strengths, as both bosses resist electric attacks. Certain weapons or Legion Arms that inflict this type of damage are useless against both foes, giving you a better idea of what items you may want to use against Manus for the final battle.

Bosses are, in most cases, the most challenging aspect of any game, and Lies of P is no different. That being said, some Lies of P bosses are OP.

Best Weapons & Items for Fighting Simon Manus

Lies of P Pinocchio Fighting Puppets in Backgroud with the Best Abilities and Powers After Beating the Game

The Bone-Cutting Saw weapon and Acid Abrasive item are incredibly effective tools for fighting Simon Manus for different reasons. The Saw is one of the best Motivity scaling weapons in Lies of P, with Fable Art abilities that deal some of the highest damage in the game. However, the destructive weapon's Blade gives you far more reach against Manus, letting you land attacks from farther away without relying on other resources.

The Acid Abrasive item gives your weapon additional Acid damage for a short time, which can tear away at Manus. This is because Simon Manus is weak to Acid, the boss's only real vulnerability in Lies of P. If you keep using the Abrasive consumable, your increased damage should make the fight far easier even as you continue to face down the variety of attacks present in both phases.

Mace Smash

Simon Manus, Arm of God, swings their mace from above their head into the ground in front of you.

The shockwave created by this Slam is hard to Dodge or Block, so simply Move away as you see Manus lift their mace above their head.

Flame Imbued Swing

Manus swings their mace against the ground, this time leaving behind a pool of fire on the spot they hit.

Avoid the attack the same way as the Mace Smash, but this time get behind Manus to avoid the fire and put yourself in a good position to deal damage.

Mace Strikes

The Arm of God swings its mace back and forth toward you in a quick but devastating combo.

Block each hit from this attack or Dodge forward to avoid the strikes by staying close to Manus' body.

Leaping Attack

This Fury Attack sees Manus leap into the air before slamming their mace into the ground where you are.

Move away from the landing hit, or perform a difficult Perfect Guard.

Aura of God

Manus slams their mace against the ground, then follows up this attack with a circle of energy created from the weapon that travels outward in a growing circle.

Get as far away from the mace as you can until the energy dissipates.

How to Defeat Simon Manus, Awakened God

Lies of P Simon Manus, Awakened God Boss to Defeat as Final Enemy in Main Story

Taking the Arm of God's health bar to nothing starts a short cutscene, transitioning you to the final phase, where Simon Manus becomes an "Awakened God" with even more abilities. More ranged attacks are added in combination with the deadliest moves from phase 1 to create a truly terrifying opponent in Lies of P. You'll also have to contend against Disruption, a condition that Manus can build up through their strikes that will cause Pinocchio to die instantly.

Look for small windows to hit with your weapon, Fable Arts, or Legion Arm abilities whenever you can to try and stagger Simon Manus. Heavier attacks may create this stun effect, allowing you to move close to the boss for a Fatal Attack. Stay patient and learn Simon Manus' new patterns to be ready for anything the so-called god can throw at you in Lies of P.

The Leaping Attack and Aura of God move return from the first phase with no additional properties from before. Use the same strategies against these attacks you did in phase 1 when they reappear.
