Love Island USA season 6 has been a wildly dramatic ride, in some part because of original Islander Rob. Througout the season, Rob has been coupled up with several different women and consistently displayed poor behavior, gaslighting and manipulating them into doing, thinking, and feeling the way he wants. When the women no longer interest or serve him, Rob has been moving on to the next interesting person.
While Love Island USA season 6’s cast is full of fascinating, exciting Islanders and Bombshells who are worth getting to know, Rob has been taking advantage of the nature of the show as he moves through the season. Rather than sticking with a connection and trying to keep himself with someone long enough to truly get to know them, he’s been moving around too quickly for anything to actually stick long term. Sharing that he’s looking for a lasting love, it appears Rob is actually looking for a shot at reality TV fame, instead, and knows how to get screentime.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Rob Was Part Of Casa Amor On Love Island USA Season 5
Although Rob has been a villain throughout Love Island USA season 6, his previous appearance was incredibly different. Entering the villa on day 15, Rob only made it through about a week in the Love Island USA competition before being dumped and sent home. A part of the Casa Amor twist, Rob didn’t make any major connections during his time on Love Island USA season 5, which meant that he wasn’t able to find someone to couple up with to keep him in the villa long-term. Though he was charming, Rob didn’t stick around to show more of his personality.
Rob Initially Coupled Up With Leah, But Things Got Messy
Coming into the villa as one of the original Islanders on Love Island USA season 6, Rob initially coupled up with Leah Kateb in the first moments of the season. The pair were drawn to each other, but when Bombshell Liv Walker stole Rob, things began to get messy. Rob continued his relationship with Leah behind Liv’s back, then recoupled with her before becoming disinterested quickly and recoupling with Andrea Carmona. Rob went through a few other women, even finding himself single for a time, before moving on to his current match, Daniela Ortiz Rivera, who he seems content with.
Love Island USA Is Trying To Redeem Rob, But He’s Too Much Of A Villain
Although he continually spreads the message that he’s just trying to explore his options on Love Island USA season 6, the messy way Rob’s playing the game is making him too much of a villain to redeem. The way Rob has spoken to Leah, gaslighting her and manipulating her to think their relationship wasn’t as serious as it was, has made Love Island USA viewers question his motives for being on the show. While Rob was meant to redeem himself after a disastrous time on Love Island USA last year, he’s making himself into the show’s biggest villain this season.
