The Yautja species are among the most Predators’ tendency to skin their victims, to encounter one of these creatures in the real world would be a truly frightening proposition.
With epic crossover series like Alien vs. Predator, thrilling prequels that outlined the species mythology, or exciting spin-offs that took viewers off Earth, the sheer volume of Yautja variants was truly impressive. As a trophy-hunting species that thinks of killing as a type of sport, the Yautja have gone down in cinematic history as some of the smartest, most cunning, and ritualistic killers ever depicted on screen. With the ability to camouflage, utilize heat vision, and travel interstellar distances, it’s often difficult to determine a variant's definitive kill count, but from what’s been seen on screen, they are a lethal race.
15 Chopper
Alien vs. Predator (2004)
This Young Blood Yautja was the middle of three brothers who traveled to Earth in Alien vs. Predator and who failed to slay any Xenomorphs during their ritual hunt. Chopper allowed himself to be distracted by the humans and was quickly ambushed and killed by the Xenomorph Drone named Grid. While it’s known that Chopper was involved in the killing of several of the Weyland Industries expedition stationed at Razorback Point Whaling Station, the true extent of his murderous tendencies is not known, as he died before getting a chance to reach his full potential.

14 Crucified Predator
Predators (2010)
The Crucified Predator was based on the original creature designed by Stan Winston from Predator and was seen in the Predators movie and across video games, comic books, and short film installments of the franchise. While the extent of his kill count is unknown, he met a gruesome end as the Super Predators on the Game Preserve Planet captured him and strung him on a totem pole. While the Crucified Predator did manage to break free, he was ultimately subdued and decapitated by the Berserker while engaging in battle.

13 The Elder Predator
Alien vs. Predator (2004)
The Elder Predator was a Yautja Ancient who oversaw the initiation hunt of the Young Bloods in Alien vs. Predator. As the creature who presumably commanded the Mother Ship that brought the younger aliens to Earth, this aged alien was likely responsible for the deaths of countless victims that were never depicted on screen. However, the true nature of this Yautja variant’s kill count remains a mystery, as by the time he was seen on screen, he had already taken to guiding and mentoring a new crop of killers for the predator generation.

12 Greyback
Predator 2 (1990)
The Greyback Predator’s history with humanity traverses centuries, as he first visited Earth back in 1718, where he assisted the pirate captain Raphael Adolini in fending off his mutinous crew. After this battle, Greyback was gifted with a flintlock pistol and returned to Earth in 1997 with a small hunting party. However, Greyback allowed the City Hunter Predator to run rampant in Los Angeles and merely observed the proceedings. After the City Hunter’s defeat, Greyback and the rest of his crew left Earth with their fallen comrade, meaning definitive figures on his kill count are impossible to determine.

11 Celtic
Alien vs. Predator (2004)
Celtic was the biggest and oldest of the three Young Blood Yautja seen in Alien vs. Predator who hoped to become a Blooded Yautja through the killing of Xenomorph prey. Celtic only had one documented kill in the film, as he was responsible for the death of the mercenary Max Stafford after he and a group of humans were ambushed. Despite initially having the upper hand against the Xenomorph Grid, his overconfidence meant he was killed by the alien’s signature Headbite attack.

10 The Falconer
Predators (2010)
The Game Preserve Planet in Predators featured many Yautja variants who utilized different skill sets to take down their prey. The Falconer Predator used a falcon-like device to track his victims from above and was d with the Super Predator Clan. While the Falconer worked alongside the Berserker and Tracker to take down human victims, he met his end in a duel with the human Hanzō Kawakami, who managed to fatally kill the creature before he himself fell victim to his wounds.

9 Tracker
Predators (2010)
The Super Predator Tracker was seen on the Game Preserve Planet in Predators and is also known as Flusher or Dog Handler. This Yautja used Hell Hound aliens to snuff out his prey and helped abduct humans for their game of hunting for sport. Tracker killed Ronald Noland and was indirectly responsible for the death of Nikolai Fedorov, who sacrificed himself by attaching Claymore mines to himself and detonating them, killing the creature in the blast..

8 Berserker Predator
Predators (2010)
While most Predators seen across the franchise follow the Yautja Honor Code, the Berserker has ignored these traditions and appeared happy to kill in whatever manner they wished. This unpredictable nature meant the Berserker had a rivalry with the Jungle Hunter Clan and even went as far as to subdue and kill the Crucified Predator. With more human kills on the Game Preserve Planet in Predators, the Berserker was a dishonorable Yautja clan leader who met his end with a bone axe attack from the elite human mercenary Royce.

7 Upgrade Predator
The Predator (2018)
The genetically modified Upgrade Predator was the archenemy of the Fugitive, who was tasked with preventing that alien from delivering the Predator Killer technology to humanity. With DNA composed from various creatures, this Yautja had enhanced size, strength, and abilities, which meant it was infinitely more durable than a regular Predator. With kills including Lynch, Baxley, Coyle, and the Fugitive, the Upgrade Predator succeeded in his mission before he was killed by Quinn McKenna, who used the creature's wrist gauntlet to fire an explosive into his leg before being finished him off with a head shot.

6 Wolf
Alien vs. Predator: Requiem (2007)
This veteran Yautja was known to have killed at least five humans on Earth but also slayed many Xenomorphs and fought a Predalien in combat. As an elite hunter, it's likely that Wolf had countless kills before the events seen in Alien vs. Predator: Requiem, where he traveled to Earth after picking up a distress call from a Yautja Scout Ship that had crash-landed. As a major foe with plenty of special traits and unique abilities, Wolf even had enough strength to overpower two Xenomorph Drones, although he was eventually killed by a tactical nuclear bomb dropped by Colonel Stevens.
