Predator movies. And as the three separate stories play out, Predator: Killer of Killers reshapes aspects of the lore, timeline, and more. All the new ways it approaches the long-running franchise align with how Hollywood has come to expand several properties in more recent years. And with Predator: Badlands coming next, there's a clear roap for the future.

That makes questions about if Predator: Killer of Killers would have a post-credits scene make sense. Dan Trachtenberg has taken over the franchise following Prey's acclaim. The stories he tells in Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers are similar but also different, with Predator: Badlands established as another fresh entry in the series with its Yautja focus. With this movie taking place so early in Predator timeline, it would be easy for the film to set up future adventures with the killer aliens. Using a post-credits scene would be one way to do that.

Predator: Killer Of Killers Does Not Have A Post-Credits Scene

But There Is Something Extra

It is confirmed that Predator: Killer of Killers does not have a post-credits scene in the traditional sense. Viewers do not need to wait around until the very end of the credits to see something extra that teases more anthology stories like these or suggest what will come in Predator: Badlands. It's still encouraged to sit through the entire credits sequence to see the names of everyone who worked on the first animated Predator movie, including the animators, the voice cast, and more.

While there isn't a main post-credits scene, it's important that you don't stop Predator: Killer of Killers' ending.

But, since there are some credits that flash right before this, be sure to keep watching. Once the main credits sequence begins, then it is safe to stop watching if necessary. There is not another piece of footage tacked onto the end after the epilogue.

Predator: Killer Of Killers' Epilogue Continues A Franchise Trend

Real Post-Credits Scenes Aren't For This Franchise

The Predator movies have never included a post-credits scene in a way that most viewers would label them. They weren't popular enough for the early movies starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover to include. Adrien Brody's Predators also didn't include one. But, 2018's The Predator directed by Shane Black offered something different. The movie's final scene is basically a post-credits scene, as Boyd Holbrook's character suggests he'll use the "Predator killer" suit. It might come before the credits, but it feels like a post-credits scene.

Dan Trachtenberg then delivered another subversion to typical post-credits scenes with Prey. The credits have an animated sequence recapping the events of Naru's battle against the Yautja, leading up to the final moment shown before the animation begins. However, Prey's credits include scenes that go beyond Naru's ending. This includes showing several Yautja ships coming to Earth. The tease set up a rematch between Naru and the Comanche Tribe against a wave of aliens. But since this came through an animated sequence, it doesn't fully classify as a post-credits scene.

Predator: Killer of Killers has now done something similar. Its epilogue is more direct and difficult to miss because of how it interrupts the early credits. What happens ultimately satisfies multiple purposes. The epilogue continues to wrap up the main story of Predator: Killer of Killers while also leaving viewers with ideas about what future movies could explore. All in all, this is much better than a post-credits scene and continues Predator's clever ways of avoiding the usual credits scenes audiences can expect.
