Snape is the antihero. That was the whole point and Rickman filled that time perfectly. He and Rowling wanted it that way. The description in the book is a man with sallow skin and greasy black hair. I have no problem with Black, White, Asian, whatever...I just think Essiedu would make a Super great Kingsley which wasn't promoted well in the movies.
