Thanks for this quote! I was having trouble reconciling the "next turn of the wheel" thing with characters like Rahvin being in the show in spite of being balefired in the books. Especially considering that the difference between the number of Forsaken in the show is less than the number in the books by exactly the number of Forsaken who died by Balefire in the books

I'm pretty disappointed that we didn't get to see Nynaeve face off against Moghedien this season, and in Sammael's premature exit (loved the idea of someone stronger and more anti-Lews Therin taking Asmo's role) but other than that I'm pretty happy with the finale. It's more true to the source material than The Rook, and I enjoyed both versions of The Rook.
