See AllRed Hulk's Transformation In Captain America: Brave New World Is Disappointing Given This 13-Year Hulk Streak
To be fair, those transformation scenes are probably the most expensive to produce since it's a fair blend of live action and CGI. To me, this movie had more of a big TV production feel instead of a silver screen production in of the effects and action sequences. It really stood out in fight scenes where Mackie wasn't in the suit. Those fights looked more like the fight scenes in the Netflix version of Daredevil. The choice could have been intentional to help highlight that Sam is just a regular guy, not a super soldier like Steve. The end result though takes away from the movie. Same could be said with the makeup choices for The Leader.
Why Superman Looks So Weak In James Gunn's New Movie
Superman appears weak because every time I look at Corenswet, I see Topher Grace. I'm just waiting for Red Forman to pop outta the woodwork and call him a dumbass, lol.
I Still Want The Incredible Hulk Director’s MCU Dream To Happen & Give The Avengers Their Best Villain Yet 17 Years Later
In recruiting Hulk for the Avengers, they took away a lot of his edge as a character. He went from fugitive on the run to rockstar. I was a fan of the old TV show. The Hulk led more of a tortured existence as a man on the run trying to escape the government. As a character, the Hulk is capable of so much more than just "Hulk smash". Hard to explore that in an AC/DC fueled action sequence.
I've Said It Before And I'll Say It Again - Avengers: Endgame Destroyed The MCU
Personally I was disappointed in Infinity War/End Game. It squandered years of setup and deviated so far away from the comics that it was unrecognizable beyond the most base elements.
After Jason Momoa's Lobo Casting I'm Convinced Henry Cavill Can James Gunn's DC Universe And Be Redeemed After His Superman Run Was Cut Short
With Gunn openly accepting of the idea of Elseworld stories, shutting down the possibilities of allowing Snyder to finish his vision/story was just a move to shut down any comparison to what he's building now. It was a cowardly move. Cavill's Superman was the first to really resonate with me. He made Clark/Kal a real person with real internal conflict vs the generic persona to just use as a sounding board for a propaganda campaign. Injustice is probably the best story they could ever tell about Superman.
Star Wars: The Old Republic Complete Timeline Explained
I was such a huge fan of this game back when I was primarily a PC gamer. So wish they'd make an attempt to bring it to XBox.
