And isn't it ironic that you say the "big hitter" (meaning big cast) movies will do better in one sentence, but go on to say the MCU's downfall has been its expansive characters.

Get you're not a romance novel fan. But again, not set in the 21st century, so you need to take a breath. My gripe about the transformation from book to screen was the loss of humor. This is a raucous family raised by a single mom. Much of that humor showed how connected the family were. That seemed minimized. Of COURSE the Bridgerton boys badgers their women. They're from a family of 8 kids! Not a hotbed of gentility, dealing with that. And you're not giving the women credit by saying they submit, not love. Love was a big part of those books.
