First, I don't think Amazon should be able to tack on 'the Lord of the Rings' to the name 'Rings of Power' because the ROP has nothing to do with the LOTR. No matter how anyone justifies ROP it is poorly written, acted and directed. I managed to get through the 1st season. As I started to watch this present season, I found myself not caring about any of the characters. This, for me, represents a huge lack of empathy development. From the start it is hard to follow. The whole production is a disappointment. Amazon should stick to their marketplace endeavors.
