See AllI Worked At The Galactic Starcruiser, & I Can Tell You What Everyone's Getting Wrong About The "Star Wars Hotel"
The timing of this isn't at all suspect, no, not at all. Jenny Nicholson puts out a meticulously and thoughtfully produced examination of what went wrong with the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and in a stunning display of a straw man fallacy, you try and boo hoo about how this hurts the cast . Honestly, just say you didn't bother to watch the entire video. As she always does, she went out of her way to commend the cast and pointed out that its failure was due to Disney and their choosing to prioritize cost-cutting and profit over fully realizing the imagineers' vision of what Galaxy's Edge and the Starcruiser could be. I don't know of a single person in my rather Disney-oriented circle of influence who didn't understand that it was more than a hotel. But accepting for the sake of argument that EVERYONE didn't understand it wasn't just a hotel - that falls at the feet of marketing. I certainly hope you at least got "atta boys" from Disney, if not actual monetary or compensatory rewards for continuing to allow them to think its problems were a "You" thing, and not an "Us" thing.
