The MOST IMPORTANT AND WELL KNOWN Macross is region locked and not available with an English language track. We all know it exists, because Amazon hosted both Robotech with its native English language track, as well as the three shows, uncut, with their native Japanese and English language dubs.

Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Cavalry Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeada (which seasons 1, 2, and 3 of the Harmony Gold Robotech were based on) are region locked. Disney+ is making this grand show of "bringing Macross to the USA, with only a few minor exceptions" those exceptions being the very Macross Disney had insinuated they would be getting. I understand, if the new deal prohibits Disney from getting those three, plus the movie, "Do you believe in love?" that they would be geolocked... but why didn't Disney arrange a side deal with Harmony Gold?

Instead, Robotech is locked into CrunchyRoll. CrunchyRoll does not have Battle of the Planets, G-Force, or the OG Science Ninja Team Gatchaman (or anything related to it). They also du not have any of the multitudinous Voltron series. They at least have Starblazers. But to already have Netflix, Max, Prime, Disney+, Hulu, Starz, and Paramount+, why should I have to spend $8.00 more a month for just three seasons of one show Disney insinuated they were getting. Robotech is the show responsible for bridging the West to the East in ahead of its time animation (called Japanimation briefly). Uuggghh!

A key component in Sidious' plan was Anakin Skywalker. Yoda and Obi-Wan should have pulled Anakin and Pe aside early in the Clone Wars.

By pulling you, Senator, of the board as leverage against Anakin, and removing you, Anakin, from the Chancellor's long term plan may force his hand. Senator, the Jedi have bounty hunter identifies we own. You will be Boushh, and Anakin, you may choose. You will use these identities to investigate. But first we must train you how to remain invisible in the Force. Only me, Obi-Wan, and Mace Windu are aware if and fully this plan. Master Skywalker, you will have access to the texts you so desire to, will you both help us and the Republic?"

Dafne Keen was one of the shining lights of this series. I have been impressed with her screen presence since Logan. I can sum up the difficulties with the storyline of The Acolyte in one sentence: The Power of Many was implied to be the ultimate power in the Thread 🤨 and this power was overcome by a single Jedi, causing the deaths of everyone in the coven.

Contributing factors: Master Nepotism, The Stranger wearing a mask of cortosis around his whole head when cortosis causes an interruption to a Force s connection to the Force and the helmet limited his vision as shown in the show. Sneaking up on a Jedi Wookie, who have a great sense of smell, in his native environment, and then getting close enough to his face to defeat him head on. He didn't need to Force to pull his arms out of his sockets. Mae started the fire at the suggestion of her hateful mother, then blame the Jedi for the fire. The witches attacked the padawan before the Jedi attacked the witches. The twins were in no way close to the Chosen One created by the Force itself, not some witches who realized two women can't make a baby. Jedi Master Indara's death makes no sense as they have a subconscious particle shield around themselves to stop physical attacks; in addition, Jedi have a sixth sense alerting them to such intended attacks. Finally, the Jedi do not fight hand to hand Matrix style. Hand to hand combat would have been seen as clumsy. This has never been touched on before. The Jedi learn to fight with lightsabers from an early age. They don't learn hand to hand combat. This was done to take advantage of diversity hires.

When the first thing announced about the show was its diversity and an female dominant cast, and not prioritizing how it fits into the star wars universe, it was in trouble. I feel like The Acolyte catered to a certain demographic, while ignoring all the other star wars fans. This caused the show to fail miserably. Same as Pride & Prejudice with a SOA cast.
