See AllOne Dark Andor Season 2 Scene Turns Everything George Lucas Did Upside-Down (& I Think That's The Point)
Kinda like how today we see Trad Wives on tik tok trying to show America the way. This show written 2 years ago still keeps hitting American culture right in the kidneys. And it's that American audience that's clearly conflicted. And for people who cringed at the wedding, you should read real life news stories. Its happening in America right now. You can go read real life cringe of child brides. You dont need to argue fantasy culture to see what the lesson was and why children need their childhood intact. I wish this series was a call to arms to protect people but it won't. LOL.
One Cut Andor Scene Totally Changes Mon Mothma's Entire Story
I felt there was more to Perrin but, there was so much story and in the end only 2 seasons. We got to see glimpses of other sides of Perrin in S1 when Leida grills her mom for not being present in their lives. You see it again in S1 when she pushes him away by quickly cutting him off with "it's charitable" as if he wouldn't be interested. She already had built up who he was without seeing who he was and honestly thats very much a human flaw for people to have. We see even more glimpses in s2 at the party, his concern for Mon when she gets inebriated. We see Mon in more than just a historical figure but we see her as somebody who has pushed out everybody close to her. Even her daughter she's alienated from. This show has nuance and layers, it's lovely.
I'm So Fascinated About What The Original Plan For Captain Marvel 2 Looked Like After Hearing The Marvels' Director's Comments About It
Perhaps a little off topic but right on topic.... why is Disney- who owns marvel- so BAD at defending their own actors from hate. Between Marvel and Star Wars they literally let their actors experience the racism and bad gender stereotypes. Like maybe a good movie would come out if they stood up for their own people. The community was wrong in it's vilification despite that I TOTALLY agree the movie was bad. Bad movies don't justify hate. (Edited for spelling)
The Harshest Reality For Netflix's Dungeons & Dragons Show Stems Directly From Honor Among Thieves
I feel oddly left out but why is Stranger Things being brought up? The show may have had a D&D villain but it's NOT D&D? If the author is adamant Honor Among Thieves and this new show is Apples and Oranges, then Stranger Things is a tub of grandma's fruit slices.
How Baldur’s Gate 3’s Main Five Devils Are Connected
I would argue that Larian's interpretation of the Archdukes is one of the best in 5e. Everybody else doesn't have a satisfying finish when you sink your lore teeth into it.
Concerned Pokémon GO Players Are Transferring Their Pokémon To Home After Niantic Acquisition
I can understand people's worries tho. Have yall played their version of monopoly? With timers, microtransactions, FOMO caused by collecting stickers cards and other NFT-lite-like assets. Using psychology and addiction similar to gambling to make sure you're clicking the screen... pokemon go will be changed by a company that sees it as a cahs cow to milk. All their other games are set up for that. You can't sell a future of bright hope when the reality that is facing you is "corporatization." AND NO I don't play Monopoly, I have witnessed that game take over people's lives and not in any constructive way. I've even seen people be so rude over a friggen digital token. This isn't a step forward: the PoGo community don't need that stress. Especially when children play the game. Imagine your child being harassed by a grown adult over a digital asset. They prolly already are but this "social interaction" will increase. I hope this new company has a boisterous anti-harassment campaign tucked around the corner.
