I enjoyed it. Yes I have read Tolkien and yes it has strayed from lore but who cares. It's still great. I look forward to watching season 3. I nearly didn't watch it due to cancel culture. So many programs I've invested my time in for if to be cancelled. Tolkien fanatics need to just move on and watch something else if they can't enjoy it for what it is.
