See AllDoctor Who Season 15, Episode 8 Review: I Genuinely Don't Understand Half Of The Decisions That Were Made In This Bizarre Season Finale
I have been and always shall be a Doctor Who fan since the 70s. Many wonderful episodes from Many Doctors. Even from Ms. Jodie and Mr.Gatwa. This season started fine. But that Finale was a hot mess. As others have pointed out: Omega's and The Rani's easy defeat, the silly and unnecessary UNIT battle, and the unnecessary call backs and cameos. But my biggest gripe is the complete neglect of the Susan tease. To what end? And to most new viewers who only have access to the Disney episodes, the reveal of Rose Tyler as (potentially?) the new Doctor makes no sense. And is the show definitely on hiatus or not? Very disappointed overall.
Star Trek's Best Movie Fixed The Franchise In Its Opening Credits
I that moment that the movie shower the " in the 23rd Century." It WAS groundbreaking for this fan. I had read that Gene Roddenberry avoided a specific time due to his concerns that technology might advance faster or slower resulting in the show becoming dated or unrealistic. He invented the "Star date" idea to counter this. When the episodes originally aired, the star dates are not sequential. Various excuses were made to explain this discrepancy, but there is no real explanation. Seeing "in the 23rd century" was a bold and meaningful addition. I wonder whose idea it was to include it.
Jeri Ryan Says Captain Seven of Nine’s Mystery Star Trek Warp Command Idea Is “Evil Genius”
I like the idea of a Borg inspired, "Comply" mentioned by Viper in the comments. However, as mentioned, it is NOT necessary for EVERY Captain to have a catch phrase. Kirk certainly didn't. For all the NuTrek haters: "Bad Trek is better than No Trek." Personally, I live ALL Trek!
I Love Star Trek: The Original Series, But It's Time To it Every Single Season Finale Was Bad
It should be pointed out that BIG Season Finale expections are a relatively recent idea. TOS Trek has been and always A SERIALIZED show. That is why they can be watched in any order and initially were show that way. They were broadcast when finished, not in any order. Yet still a brilliant and excellent show.
This Underhyped Fantasy Show With 84% On RT Would Have Been So Much Bigger If It Premiered Just Two Years Later
I must confess to never having read the source material, although it is on my EXTENSIVE must read list. But I have watched both the Feature Film AND the Series on streaming. While I liked the film and I would have gladly watched and sequels, I LOVED the series and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. It is beautifully done and a complete story that is excellently done.
Doctor Who Found a Way to Redeem Its Worst Companion In the Most Unexpected Way
I read this comic and was not impressed. The draw of seeing all the Doctors to that point was good; however I was underwhelmed by finding out that Adam was the villain. Almost forgot he existed. Good, not great comic.
