Seems contradictory to claim in one part that that dance off took away from the emotional buy in in the first movie and then claim the two sequels failed to live up to the perfection of the first movie. The levity of the absurdity of the dance off distraction is counter balanced by the Guardians nearly be destroyed by the power of the Infinity stone.
DC Just Confirmed Exactly How Badly Robert Pattinson's Batman Failed Gotham
Not disappointing for Batman not being there. Pattinson's Bruce Wayne comes across more as a depressive spoiled child, rather than the brooding dark knight, he appears sulking. The difference? Batman's brooding is his deep intellectual concern for Gothan in light of the overwhelming evil trying to destroy it, he is the city's protector against criminals and city officials alike. Pattinson's sulking looks like a self absorbed kid sad because mom and dad are gone.
Don't get me wrong I liked the throw back to the time when Batman was a detective, that was probably the best aspect of the movie, and Catwoman and that Batmonile were on point. Just needed less sulking, a bit of back story to understanding his brooding nature and we may have something here.
I hate articles that say the same thing 6 times over the course of the article, not sure if getting paid by the word or what. But definitely need to find some new words - I got the premise in the first minute that there was a void in Gotham created by Batman, got it, I don't need to be told 5 more times
