Boo hoo she had to follow the contract her parents bought for her before her dad sold the masters from his record company (where he was on the board of directors) to someone else. Thank goodness she is a pretty middle aged white woman so everyone can see what a victim she is.

This is built to be turned into a series – the long drama of Andy's conviction being disproven, the slow build up of friendship and trust over years, the exploration of justice, confinement and how it can change someone.

It will be done terribly and never match the expectations set by the original, but a new generation will binge it, meme it, talk about it for a month, and forget about it until a new list of "best shows of all time" or "shows you didn't know were remakes," comes out.
