when we used to get mutants with cool and unique powers? Nowadays, every third mutant is Omega level and can out wrestle God with their pinky finger. Marvel, I'm begging you, PLEASE introduce more mutants with low level abilities. A guy who can bounce, a girl who can glow.... everyone doesn't need to be Omega level.

In no way is Rogue a replacement for River. It took multiple episodes to get them to a loving relationship. You can't just plop down a new character and go "boom, you're in love" without any kind of buildup. The Doctor has zero chemistry with this guy because there simply hasn't been enough time to build any. They should have spread his appearances out over multiple episodes and gradually built it up. The shorter run times aren't doing this show any favors.

1) I seriously doubt that they'll be gone for long since Mark Waid recently announced that there's going to be a new series or something coming up with the Legion soon.

2)Bendis' Legion is not the same team that Superman was part of; they're from a different reality.
