See AllHow The Librarians: The Next Chapter Connects To The Original Show Explained By Showrunner: "Those Adventures Are Still Happening"
This is such a bad show.. bad CGI, bad story lines, bad writing, low budget... The acting makes it seem like it's a children's show. They have a lead character with and Indian name--played by a white guy?? Like, whut?!
The first series got canceled after it's ratings tanked. So what? they reboot it? The show that failed?? Absolutely brilliant. Smh
Does no one in Hollywood have any fresh ideas..?
Is this how Dean Devlin keeps getting chances to make bad sci-fi? Like show after show is objectively bad. They get canceled, and what he gets to make another one? Who keeps green-lighting these shows??
Man.. there has to be some young screenwriters with fresh and captivating stories.. give some of them a chance.. Dean Devlin needed to retire a few years ago. This is just getting ridiculous now.
I don't mean to insult any of the viewers and readers that enjoyed this show.. But unfortunately it's a dean devil in production, So it's bound to be canceled after a couple seasons
The Ark Showrunners Explain How Seasons 1 & 2 Were Just A Prologue To The Sci-Fi Series' Actual Beginning
I think this is a feeble attempt by the creator and producers to secure a season 3 by claiming that the first 2 seasons were just a prelude to the "real story."
This show is definitely on the chopping block and renewal is unlikely. This is how SyFy operates. Give a couple seasons to show with a minimal budget. Bad acting, bad CGI and a non cohesive storyline that jumps around so wildly from episode to episode that one might think it came directly from the mind of a bipolar patient that stop taking their lithium. Throwing out a bunch of fishing lines in every direction and hope at least one of them get a bite.
Now that they're hoping to get a 3rd season renewal, the executives would be asking, "where is this story going? And is it enough to increase audience engagement..?"
They don't have an answer because their storyline has been so wacky that it seems like they've been making it up as they go.. so trying to convince people that they have a grand plan which culminates in essentially a brand new storyline that they would be able to reach out to brand new viewers because it's essentially a new series..
No.
Dean Devlin should stop making these half baked series based on regurgitated ideas. I'm sure there are a tonne of young, enthusiastic writers that would be able to inject a fresh set of ideas in the science fiction genre. They just need to be given a chance.
This "formula" is just not good enough anymore.
