See AllI'm Really Worried About Prime Video's Biggest Fantasy Show After Just Cancelling Its 88% RT Adaptation Series
I'm certain they won't end "The Rings of Power" without giving it a final season and like said in the article combining what they planned for seasons 4 and 5. I'm surprised too these articles aren't mentioning the 5 other fantasy shows Amazon has in the works. I'm a fan of the "Fourth Wing" books too and the last we heard from the author Rebecca Yarros she said they have already written season 1 and there are casting rumors already too. I had a feeling Amazon might get rid of "The Wheel of Time" and replace it with "Fourth Wing" since those books are very popular right now and books 4 and 5 still need to be written and published. It makes sense for Amazon to do this and go with what's popular. Then the news that "The Rings of Power" got sold into syndication with some of Amazon's other shows is a good sign too they plan to keep it around and make money off of it. It'll get an ending but not sure it'll be 5 seasons like the planned.
"There's Too Much Story" — Why Victoria Season 4 Was Canceled, Explained By Jenna Coleman & ITV
ITV actually never cancelled the show. They were asked about it after this by TVLine and other sites and they confirmed the show is still only on hiatus, which is not a cancellation. The show's writer Daisy Goodwin has also as recently as two years ago commented that she wrote the 4th season already and they were just trying to figure out when was the best time to do it. British shows are strange like this as they can go on hiatus for years and then suddenly be back. Jenna's also getting close to how old Queen Victoria really was when Prince Albert died so it's still possible they could pick the show up with a 4th season there or a Christmas special TV movie, but they do still plan to do something.
