Once your equipment is retrieved, Slappi assigns challenges that allow you to use the gadgets. These challenges range from simple to complicated. Compared to some of the other challenges, the Shock and Awe challenge is more complex but is essential if you wish to progress through Revenge Of The Savage Planet.

Completing Shock And Awe Challenge

Utilize Your Surroundings And Resources

In this challenge, you must electrocute and defeat five enemies at the same time. While you don't have an actual electric weapon, there are a couple of resources you could utilize to help you. You will need Ferrous Goo and electrified mushrooms, which, of course, means you can only complete this challenge in certain areas around the map if you utilize this route of completing the challenge.

Like in Journey to the Savage Planet, each area of the map has vastly different resources and creatures. There are a couple of areas that would make this challenge a bit easier, one of which is near the peaks of the Zenethian Rift, below the teleporter. There are plenty of electrified mushrooms, Ferrous Goo, and various enemies throughout this area, making it a perfect location to complete the challenge. Due to the Ferrous Goo slowing anything that interacts with it, it is suggested to cover the entire area you're in with it.

Gray goo is metallic and as the ability to conduct electricity.

While you're not guaranteed to get five enemies trapped in its sticky properties, it increases your chances of doing so. You will be able to put quite a lot down before it starts despawning, and you may need to refill your supply if you run low while using it. After you're done creating your canvas of goo, connect an electrified mushroom to it and watch every enemy in the goo sizzle.

Alternatively, you could also fast travel to the Pillars of Turpitude and stand on one of the large bone structures. Throw bait down on the ground and wait until the creatures are grouped together eating before attacking one of the Scorpion Puffers, also known as the Electro-Scorpion. There should be plenty of Scorpion Puffers and Puffer Foxes in this area to use for this challenge.

You may need to attempt this a few times as it can be difficult to get all five to die from being shocked simultaneously. Since there's a teleporter near you, you can teleport back to your habitat and return to the area. The enemies should respawn, allowing you to try this method again. After this challenge is completed, along with the other challenges in this set, you will receive the next tier of various upgrades in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
