Sauron is all set up for another bromance in Sauron got his talons into Celebrimbor, and the duo set to work creating the Rings of Power together. This required a great deal of flattery from the Dark Lord. He seduced and manipulated the elf craftsman, making him feel special and appreciated. Celebrimbor was so swept off his feet in Rings of Power season 2 that he didn't see he was being played until it was too late.

Now, going into Rings of Power season 3, Sauron is ready to move on to his next victim. Celebrimbor served his purpose, and Sauron ended their relationship by slowly impaling the elf to death. Then, the Dark Lord claimed Adar's Orcs and left Eregion behind in shambles. Though we can't know for certain what Sauron's next move will be, hints suggest that he will turn his sights on the island kingdom of Numenor. He rather liked the place when he was there in Rings of Power season 1, and there are plenty of Men from this island that Sauron can use to replace Celebrimbor.

Kemen May Be Sauron's Next Subject Of Manipulation In Rings Of Power Season 3

Kemen & Sauron Can Be Season 3's Big Bromance

Back in Rings of Power season 2, Sauron expressed his desire to give nine Rings of Power to some lucky Men. He specifically mentioned Numenor, which is why it's highly likely that the villain will head toward this island in season 3. Given the current political state of this kingdom, they would be easy victims for the Dark Lord to manipulate. Like Celebrimbor, they are proud and eager to prove themselves, so it won't take much for Sauron to load them up with flattery and take advantage. The person who seems most likely to be the villain's first target is Kemen, Pharazon's son.

Pharazon doesn't think much of his son, and, as mentioned in Rings of Power season 2, his late wife had foreseen a dark future for Kemen. Whatever this is will surely involve the Dark Lord Sauron.

We know from Tolkien canon that Sauron will manipulate Pharazon into mounting an attack on the demigod-like Valar of Valinor, so a relationship of this type is sure to develop here. Kemen would be useful to Sauron in other ways, however. Pharazon doesn't think much of his son, and, as mentioned in Rings of Power season 2, his late wife had foreseen a dark future for Kemen. Whatever this is will surely involve the Dark Lord Sauron.

At first glance, it could be assumed that Kemen will receive one of Sauron's Nine Rings. He would technically be royalty, after all, so this would check out. However, Kemen isn't the sort of character we would think of when considering the Ringwraiths of The Lord of the Rings. He's cowardly and slimy, not fearsome and powerful. This makes me wonder if Sauron and Kemen's evil friendship could turn the Numenorean into a different traditional Lord of the Rings character.

Kemen Could Become The Lord Of The Rings' Mouth Of Sauron

Sauron & Kemen Could Make It To The Fourth Age

In Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Sauron has a servant known only as the Mouth of Sauron. He is said to be a living man, though the Mouth of Sauron had long ago forgotten his own name. In Return of the King, this villain served as an emissary, meeting with Gandalf and Aragorn to discuss Sauron's . Peter Jackson initially included the Mouth of Sauron in his Lord of the Rings movies, but the character was cut from Return of the King's theatrical version. Now, Rings of Power may be bringing the Mouth of Sauron back to the screen.

If Sauron heads that way and begins to woo Kemen, we may see this man slowly begin to lose himself to the Dark Lord's influence.

The Mouth of Sauron is typically believed to be a Black Numenorean who settled in Middle-earth and began to worship Sauron. The last time we saw Kemen in Rings of Power season 2, he was setting up camp in Middle-earth. If Sauron heads that way and begins to woo Kemen, we may see this man slowly begin to lose himself to the Dark Lord's influence. This aspect, at least, seems inevitable. Kemen is all set up to be Sauron's next plaything in Rings of Power season 3. Whether he could become the Mouth of Sauron is still unclear, but it would certainly be intriguing.
