In a world as dangerous as Solo Leveling, any Hunter faced with imminent danger would rather run to protect and preserve their own life. This is seen in the first episode when one of Jinwoo’s party attempts to flee the S-rank dungeon, only to meet a tragic end. Jinwoo may have been labeled the weakest Hunter, but no one could deny his bravery. His ability to face his fears and take the difficult path forward highlights his indomitable spirit.

Jinwoo’s true strength shined through when his party became trapped in the Double Dungeon. While his guildmates began to panic, Jinwoo managed to keep his composure and analyze the situation. His ability to remain levelheaded in the face of overwhelming danger is what ultimately saved the surviving half of his party. While everyone else panicked, Jinwoo was able to piece together what they were supposed to do in order to escape with their lives.

His calm and collected demeanor earned the respect of the party leader, who actively turned to Jinwoo for guidance during the three trials they were faced with. During the second trial, Jinwoo suffered serious injuries but continued to carry on and fight using his intellect and keen perception. Whereas other characters caved into the pressure, Jinwoo remained sensible and faced all adversity head-on, proving that he had been strong since the very beginning of Solo Leveling.
