  • Probably my least favorite of the trilogy, but that's only because the first two films were so outstanding. You can tell that this was Michael B. Jordan's ion project and you really feel the love he has for Adonis and the franchise as a whole. I loved getting to see Adonis and Bianca's family develop. There were also some really visually interesting choices made in the final fight between Dame and Adonis.

  • Michael B. Jordan's directorial debut is astounding stuff and takes Adonis in compelling new directions. Rocky is surely missed in the narrative but Michael B. Jordan's third turn as Creed is just as exciting as ever.

Synopsis

Creed III marks the directorial debut of Michael B. Jordan, who returns as his Rocky character Adonis Creed. In the sequel to 2018’s Creed II, Adonis’ life is going well both inside and outside the ring. But when Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors) is released from prison, he makes an enemy of his childhood friend. Tessa Thompson returns as Adonis’ wife, Bianca, along with Phylicia Rashad as his mother, Mary-Anne Creed.

Creed III Review: Jordan’s Directorial Debut Is Convincing & Confident
7/10

Though Baylin & Coogler’s script gives just enough to not be forgettable, Jordan’s direction seals the deal and provides fulfilling entertainment.
