Set in the same universe as Matt Reeves' The Batman, the untitled Batman TV series — currently referred to as Gotham PD — will explore the level of corruption within the Gotham City police department during Year One of Bruce Wayne's transformation into the Dark Knight. The show is also set to be the launching point for an expanded Batman universe across several platforms.
