The aliens are heavily armored in the movie itself, but the script allows us to know that of Beta Ray Bill's race are underneath. This would also indicate that the planet Thanos conquers in 2014 is Korbin. In the comics, the devastation of Korbin by Surtur is what leads to Beta Ray Bill's transformation into the powerful creature he is known as. The MCU could change his origin so Thanos is the one who indirectly helped create Beta Ray Bill.
