Something that really shocked me with <em>Sonic the Hedgehog 3 </em>is how much Jim Carrey managed to contribute his own sense of humor to the films. Like, there's this really off-beat portion of the movies that's just him doing bizarre things that works in a strange way. I think they'd suffer in a notable way without him, especially in of humor, but I think the movies could continue to reach audiences without him.
