After the new trailer for James Gunn's Superman movie, I have noticed that pretty much every new trailer, teaser, or behind-the-scenes footage we have gotten from the DCU's first film shows Superman getting beaten or looking battered. There has been some debate about Gunn making David Corenswet's Superman weaker, and in some ways, I agree. However, I don't think it's a bad thing, as it addresses the criticism that Superman is so powerful that he becomes boring, plus it gives the character more to struggle with and explains why other DCU heroes are in the movie.
