There are several movie franchises that end brilliantly, poorly, or often somewhere in between. It's hard to nail the ending of a movie series, especially if an earlier title is far superior to a later installment. There are loads of franchises that fit into this category, but strangely, the one that immediately comes to mind for me is <em>High School Musical</em>. It made sense for the story to end with the characters leaving for college, and I'm glad that the series didn't continue until years later and as a TV show with brand new personalities.
