I think Celine Song's Materialists looks fantastic, and it will be interesting to see whether the film takes a more cliché route or subverts expectations. From what we have seen in the trailer, Chris Evan, as the past flame, looks like the charismatic character the audience will rot for. I believe Dakotan Johnson's character will end up with him, and I liked their chemistry so far. That said, Pedro Pascal's rich, successful character seems like the better catch overall, making things interesting.
