Marvel Studios has delayed the next two Avengers movies, with Doomsday arriving in December 2026 and Secret Wars in December 2027. Due to that, Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now set to release before Avengers: Doomsday. However, since the Spider-Man movie has yet to begin filming and Avengers: Doomsday was just delayed despite having started production in April, I fear that Marvel and Sony will choose to delay Spider-Man: Brand New Day so it gets more time in post-production. The film is currently slotted for a July 31, 2026 release, which could cause them to rush things.
