Netflix released all ten episodes of Temptation Island season 9 on March 12, 2025, and it's time to discuss what happened to Lino Troisi and Alexa Santamaria after filming. Lino and Alexa arrived to Temptation Island after dating for three-and-a-half years to determine if they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. While most of the other couples on the Netflix dating show cheated on each other, Lino and Alexa had a different story.

Lino and Alexa were the only couple on Temptation Island season 9 not to impose any rules going into the show. The other couples all gave each other rules that they couldn't touch or be physical with any of the tempters on the island. Alexa, however, felt those restrictions were a recipe for disaster, that if you're told, "'Don't touch the cookie jar.' You touch the cookie jar." Instead, the couple was allowed to fully immerse themselves in the experience. So what happened to Lino and Alexa on the show, and what are they up to now?

Alexa And Lino's Journeys On Temptation Island

They Remained Faithful

Alexa and Lino had a unique journey compared to their fellow Temptation Island. Instead of using the island to test whether they could be faithful to each other, Alexa and Lino were at a true crossroads in their relationship. After dating for almost four years, Alexa was ready for marriage, and she was sure that Lino was the love of her life. Lino, on the other hand, worried he was not Alexa's first choice, as she had previously been married.

He wanted to ensure their connection was authentic.

Alexa and Lino stuck to their agreement and did not cross any physical boundaries while on the show. Lino even sent home Mia Jones, a temptress who wanted to connect with him, early on in the season. Through their time apart, Alexa and Lino realized how much they truly loved each other and wanted to be together. When they were each allowed to send a video message to their partner, Alexa and Lino used the opportunity to express these feelings and say how much they missed each other.

Are They Still Together?

In one of the most shocking moments of Temptation Island, Lino proposes to Alexa after the final bonfire. Alexa accepted, and the two left the island engaged. Since the Netflix show was filmed, Alexa and Lino appear to still be together, making them a true Temptation Island success story. While neither has posted any wedding photos on social media, indicating they have yet to get married, they've posted many Instagram photos together. Most likely, Alexa and Lino are still together and engaged.
