Wordle does not offer any additional hints apart from changing the color of boxes, which can get frustrating for some players. However, players who want to maintain their Wordle streak have a better chance of guessing today’s Wordle answer by using relevant hints.
Today’s Wordle answer can be guessed faster if players are acquainted with Wordle’s Hard Mode rules. This mode is slightly more challenging than the regular version and forces players to stick to its strict rules. However, the hard mode can sometimes work in a player’s favor and help solve today’s Wordle puzzle in six tries or less.
Today's Wordle Hints (April 13th #298)
Some players like to use clues and hints that could help them guess today’s Wordle answer. The below hints do not spoil the answer for players, but it does give more context for today’s solution. The April 13th Wordle answer is CHUNK.
A chunk is usually used to describe a big piece of something. However, the word is also used to describe a sizeable noteworthy quantity or part of something. For example: "the chef cut the fruit into large CHUNKS."
When trying to guess today’s Wordle answer, we first used the word ‘ROAST,’ which did not reveal any letters being used in today’s Wordle answer. For our next attempt, we used the word ‘BRAVE,’ which also did not reveal any letters from today’s Wordle answer. We then used the word ‘PLUCK,’ which showed the correct position of two letters and an incorrect position of another. Finally, for our fourth attempt, we used the word ‘CHUCK,’ revealing the position of four letters. Once we knew the four letters that were being used in today’s Wordle answer, we could guess the word CHUNK in our fifth attempt.
