If a player prefers even more of a challenge there is always Wordle's Hard Mode that can be used. This mode locks in letters based on the previous clues given and makes it so players are forced to use the letters proven correct, removing the possibility of a wasted guess. This mode can be activated through the options in the top-right corner of the screen before any game of Wordle is started.

Today's Wordle Answer (June 18th #364)
The June 18th Wordle answer is CACAO.
Cacao is a seed that is used in a number of products, including cocoa, chocolates, and cocoa butter. Today's puzzle was quite troublesome for us and we barely pulled out a win. For our starting Wordle word, we went with IRATE which only gave us a misplaced 'A' and a lot of incorrect letters. Our next guess was BANAL, which we knew would be incorrect since it was used not that long ago in a different day's Wordle answer. This provided the correct placement for 'A' and showed us that there were two 'A's in the puzzle. After this initial realization, we went on a ride of double 'A' words that eventually led to the correct answer.
Our third guess was JAVAS, this only led to more incorrect letters. We followed that up with MADAM, more incorrect letters and the fear of a loss started to creep in. KAYAK was our fifth guess and also proved to provide nothing of help. Finally, knowing all of the incorrect letters there was really only one or two things it could possibly be, we went with CACAO and somehow salvaged a Wordle win for the day.
