Sony Pictures officially release Kraven the Hunter in theaters worldwide on December 13, 2024. The release has been hotly anticipated, with numerous delays pushing back previous release dates. It was previously scheduled for January 13, 2023, October 6, 2023, and August 30, 2024. There is no confirmed release date for Kraven the Hunter on streaming platforms, but there is a precedent established with previous SSU movies. Beginning in 2022, Sony Pictures stuck up a deal to have their movies streamed on Netflix before they appear on any other streaming platform. The previous SSU movie, Venom: The Last Dance, is yet to arrive on streaming following its October 2024, release.

However, the installment before, Madame Web, arrived on streaming in May 2024, three months after its cinematic release in February 2024. Considering all of this, it’s fairly easy to predict Kraven the Hunter’s release date. Kraven the Hunter will likely be released exclusively on Netflix sometime in March 2025.
This gives the movie some time to make some profit at box office during the festive period before it makes the move to streaming. This is also likely the case for Venom: The Last Dance, which will be released on streaming in January 2025 if it follows the previous SSU pattern. However, it appears Kraven the Hunter will not enjoy a comparable triumph. Instead, it looks like it will perform closer to Madame Web and Morbius. This would suggest that Kraven the Hunter will be released to the digital markets in January 2025, one month after the theaters - and before its streaming release on Netflix.
Though physical releases do not provide the same financial bump as they used to Kraven the Hunter will also be released on DVD and Blu-ray. Likewise, previous SSU movies would suggest that this will occur one month after the digital market.
