The Bel-Air cast includes both new and old characters who were part of the original TV show.

Although there are stark differences between Bel-Air and the original sitcom, the new maintains the same themes of family, friendship, and love. Despite Bel-Air season 3 ending on a cliffhanger, there were still questions about whether the show would be renewed for a fourth season. Fortunately, it's been confirmed that Bel-Air will be returning for its final run, giving the showrunners a chance to answer questions that were left open in the show's third season.

10 Jazz’s Storyline Needs To Be Completed

Jazz was initially introduced to the series as Will's Uber driver who ended up becoming a friend. Through their interactions, Jazz met Hilary, and the two began a romantic relationship that faced many challenges before ultimately ending. In the third season of Bel-Air, Jazz was having a difficult time keeping his record store running. Although Phil came up with a solution to save the Black-owned businesses that would have been closed due to the mall Omar wanted to build, Jazz still had a tax problem that wasn’t solved in the finale of Bel-Air season 3.

Since Hilary married Lamarcus at the end of Bel-Air season 3, Jazz's fate was left in the air. There are so many loose ends when it comes to his story that needs to be tied up before the series ends. For instance, will he continue to pursue a relationship with Hilary if Lamarcus is dead or will he let her go is a big question. Bel-Air season 4 also needs to have another storyline for Jazz that doesn't revolve around the Banks family, because he is one of the most interesting characters in the show, and he deserves his own spotlight.

9 Will And Lou Should Have A Better Relationship In Bel-Air Season 4

One of the biggest stories in Bel-Air is Will and Lou’s relationship. Lou hasn't been part of Will’s life since he was a child, which is something that causes the fresh prince to resent his father. In Bel-Air season 1, Will found out that the reason his father hadn't been around was because he was in prison serving a robbery sentence. Although father and son had a chance to clear the air, their first meeting after Lou reappeared in Will's life didn't go well, which caused them to drift further apart.

Will appeared to have made peace with his relationship with Lou, but that changed when he met his father months later in L.A. Instead of pushing Lou away like he did the last time they met, Will decided to give their relationship a chance. Although Will, Lou, and Vy talked about their problems, Lou still didn't play a huge role in his son's life. The fact that Lou and Will are now on better is something that should be reflected in the season of Bel-Air.

8 Vivian’s Fate After Discovering She Is Pregnant Should Be Revealed

One of Bel-Air season 3’s cliffhangers is about Vivian’s pregnancy. In the season 3 finale, Vivian discovers that she is pregnant with her fourth child. In the original series, the actor who played Vivian, Janet Hubert, became pregnant while filming the show, so the creators of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air decided to have her character pregnant as well. Seeing as this wasn’t the case in Bel-Air, it’s a surprise that the showrunners decided to go that way with Vivian’s story.

Vivian’s pregnancy adds another layer to the show’s plot. Given that she and Phil were excited to have the kids leave the house so they could have some time to themselves, it will be interesting to see how she will react to the news in Bel-Air’s season. Further, Vivian and Phil had finally resolved the problems they were having, and there was no knowing what a fourth child would mean for their marriage.

Geoffrey moved to L.A. from London due to the risk his gang life had on his son, Frederick. When Geoffrey was in Bel-Air, Frederick was adopted by another family for his protection. Unfortunately for Geoffrey, his gang managed to find him and wanted him to return to pay his debt or else risk the Banks and his son getting hurt. He came up with the idea of buying his way out of his previous organization, but it turns out his plan didn't work given that his past came knocking.

If it weren't for him and his involvement with a gang, Will would have been safe with his family. Further, Geoffrey is a huge part of the Banks family. The series would be missing one of its most important characters in its final run if he doesn't return.

Carlton is undoubtedly one of the characters in Bel-Air although he has had some moments in the show that make him unlikeable. After confessing that he was a drug addict, Carlton was taken to rehab where he met Amira. When they left rehab, Carlton and Amira began a relationship, despite it not being a good idea as he was just starting his sobriety journey.

After overdosing and nearly dying, Amira decided it was time she returned to rehab in order to deal with her addiction. Unfortunately, the rehab she chose, which specializes in addiction that comes as a result of trauma, is in Boston, which puts thousands of miles between her and Carlton. It's unknown if she will be in Bel-Air season 4 or whether her relationship with Carlton will continue. The fourth season needs to reveal the fate of their relationship, especially because Amira is one of the people Carlton loves the most in the show.

5 Will Has To Decide If He Will Be Playing Basketball

Will (Jabari Banks) giving his speech at the Investor Day in Bel-Air Season 3 Episode 8

When Will was in Philadelphia, basketball was a way for him to make a better life for himself. However, when he moved to Bel-Air to stay with his aunt and uncle, he had more choices when it came to the direction his life would take. However, he struggled to keep his head in the game after meeting his father, which led him to check out other options for his future that were not related to him being dependent on playing basketball.

In Bel-Air season 3, Will quit playing basketball to focus on his internship. Seeing as he will be returning to Bel-Air Academy in season 4, Will has to decide whether he will be part of the basketball team, or if he's leaving the sport behind so he can explore other aspects of his future. Since basketball is important to him, it will be interesting to see if he will decide to juggle Blackcess with his favorite sport, or if he will choose one thing between the two.

In Bel-Air season 1, Ashley revealed to Hilary that she was bisexual because of the crush she had on Lucia who, it turns out, had a crush on Will. The third season of the series sees Ashley have a new love interest, Eli, who she met during her band auditions. As the two interacted, they formed a connection and developed feelings for each other.

However, Ashley kept her new romance a secret from her parents. Given how secrets have affected the Banks family, it will do her good to tell her parents about her relationship with Eli to avoid complications. Telling her parents will not only mean she won't have to sneak around to be with Eli, but they can also help her navigate this new chapter in her life, more so because she is still learning about her sexuality.

One of Lisa’s biggest dreams is to make it to the Olympics. However, certain circumstances in her life, like her father getting remarried and then becoming the District Attorney, her relationship with Will, and caring for her little brother caused her to lose focus. Because of this, her dreams ended up taking a backseat.

Bel-Air season 4 should see Lisa achieve her dream of swimming at the Olympics. There’s more to her character than her relationship with Will and the fourth season needs to focus on that. Unlike some characters in the series, Lisa has had the least growth. During most of Bel-Air’s seasons, Lisa was either trying to put out some fire in Will’s life or trying to help everyone else around her. Bel-Air season 4 creates an opportunity for her to have her own story.

2 Hilary And Lamarcus' Story Needs To Be Resolved

Lamarcus (Justin Cornwell) and Hilary (Coco Jones) are in the midst of wedding preparations in Bel-Air Season 3 Episode 8

The finale of Bel-Air season 3 sees Will being kidnapped. The show doesn't reveal who his kidnappers are, but the likely explanation is that they are part of Geoffrey's old gang who might have taken him as payback. Given that the Banks’ loyal butler quit his job and left with Frederick and Penelope, the question remains about whether he will return to save Will. While the Banks family is important to Geoffrey, saving Will risks putting his son in danger.

There are still a lot of things about Will’s journey that need to be wrapped up before the show airs its last season. Will, now a senior, will be returning to Bel-Air Academy for his final year, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him. Bel-Air’s main character has had remarkable growth since the show’s first season, making it even more important for his story to have a satisfying conclusion.
